Anyone who follows us on Facebook will know that the first snow of winter 2018 has already fallen in the Alps. So it’s time to get excited about the uupcoming ski season.
We take a look at the opening dates on our areas for winter 2018/2019 and special offers on lift passes.
Portes du Soleil Ski Area Opening Dates 2018/19
High-altitude Avoriaz, will open from 14th December, with the entire Portes du Soleil ski area open from 22nd December 2018. Some of the slopes plan to open on the Pleney ski area above Morzine and the Chavannes area above Les Gets from 15th December 2018.
For property owners it can be worthwhile buying a season pass and there are discounts on the season pass for the Morzine-Les Gets area until 30th November 2018.
The Folie Douce Avoriaz will open its doors in December 2018, making an pre-Christmas ski trip even more exciting!

Evasion Mont Blanc Ski Area Opening Dates 2018/19
Parts of the Evasion Mont Blanc area (which includes Megeve, Saint Gervais Les Bains and Combloux) plan to open from 15th December. The ski area will close on 14th April 2019.
For regular skiers in the Evasion Mont Blanc Ski Area the season pass is discounted until 30th November 2018.
Another option is to buy a Mont Blanc Unlimited Ski Pass and, as well as the ski lifts in the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, you benefit from access to the ski lifts in Chamonix-Les Houches, Courmayeur and some days in Verbier in the Swiss Alps.

Grand Massif Ski Area Opening Dates 2018/19
The Grand Massif will open from Saturday 22nd December 2018 until 22nd April 2019 (thanks to a late Easter). The ski resorts of Flaine, Les Carroz and Samoens also plan to partially open from 15th December 2018.
Buy your Grand Massif season pass before 10th December 2018 and you will get a whopping 50% off the season price – you only have to ski 11 days during the season to justify the cost.
Another way to save on lift pass prices is to opt for the Skillico lift pass which offers between 10%-40% of the day rate of a season pass throughout the season.
